HollyHere is a picture of Holly my Huntaway which I brought back from New Zealand last year. She is about 8 years old now and I found her on the road outside our farm. She was skin and bone and covered in cuts which needed stitching. I think she may have been dumped as she is scared stiff of sheep and nips the heels of cows. Which obviously isn't ideal when you've got a milking herd and want to keep them calm so they 'milk out' in the shed. Apart from that she is great company when riding the horses and enjoys just hanging around them when they are out in the paddock. She enjoys as much exercise as you can throw at her but at the same time quite happy to 'chill''. Has a healthy respect for cats and other household/farm animals (although she hasn't quite got to grips with these British tree climbing rabbits though (squirrels)!!) Everyone comments on how well behaved she is and the improvement in her confidence since being here in the UK, she has even taken up flying with my dad in his plane. She finds the takeoff and landing dead exciting but not overly bothered with the rest of it, as there's not much to see. But most of all she is my loyal friend who loves me unconditionally.
